Follow us on our road trip safari through southern Africa's desert country Namibia. We drove through most of Namibia, exploring all the famous highlights such as the Fishriver Canyon, Sossusvlei and Etosha Nationalpark. We were lucky enough to spot most of the big, and many small, animals which call Namibia home. These include elephants, giraffes, lions, rhinos, hippos, kudus, oryx, ostriches, warthogs, springboks, impalas and many more.

Ireland is a land forged on the wild frontier between the Old and New World. Sitting on the westernmost edge of Europe, it's lyrical green valleys are bordered by soaring coastal cliffsides. It's a small island, but with a large influence thanks to millions of immigrants who brought their traditions with them across the globe. While the culture may feel familiar, if you dig past the surface there's a brave new and old world leading to the creation of two separate countries: The Independent Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.

Flying a drone in Iceland:
Please be aware that restrictions on flying drones in Iceland apply. As an example, flying in national parks requires you to obtain a license. Read more about that here: https://ust.is/english/visitin....g-iceland/faq/#drone If you intend to fly a drone in Vatnajökull National Park, make sure to apply through https://www.vatnajokulsthjodga....rdur.is/en/communiti

Please understand, that we obtained such a permit to shoot in Vatnajökull National Park. In general, be mindful of other visitors and do not disturb their experience by flying a drone directly above their heads. This is both dangerous and extremely ignorant. Don’t be this guy.

Real Talk:
Despite our attempt at keeping our Iceland Travel Documentary as authentic as possible, you are still watching a highlight reel. When editing, we naturally tend to choose the most exciting clips. What you don’t see are the hours spent driving through less spectacular landscapes or some of the challenges we faced.

Full Disclosure:
This trip was entirely self-funded. However, we participated in two complimentary whale-watching tours with North Sailing.

This was my first time visiting South Korea and I had 10 days looping around the country.

We started off visiting the DMZ at the Aegibong Peace Eco Park, then made our way to the beach town of Gangneung.

After this we made our way down to Andong and then Busan where we visited many of the citie's highlights including Gamcheon Culture Village
and Haedong Yonggungsa Temple.

In Mokpo we took the Mokpo marine cable car and then in Jeonju we explored the traditional Hanok village and got to hire out Hambok clothing.

Our trip ended in the capital city of Seoul.

Tunisia has been at the crossroads of civilizations for millennia and is a fascinating place to travel to. It’s the smallest nation in North Africa, but boasts enough history, culture, and natural beauty to match countries many times its size.

With its spectacular coastline, it’s often seen as a beach holiday destination, but venture a little further and you’ll discover a country full of vibrant cities, traditional cultures, delicious food, captivating historic sites, and friendly, welcoming people.

In this video, I’m traversing Tunisia, exploring some of the country’s most beautiful places. From the busy streets of capital Tunis to remote desert oases near Tozeur. From traditional Berber villages like Tamezret and Chenini to the long and beautiful beaches of Sousse. From the mountain scenery around Tataouine to the rolling dunes of the Sahara desert. From the relaxed vibe and friendly towns on Djerba island to the ancient archaeological sites of El Jem and Carthage. And from the impressive Great Mosque of Kairouan to the bustling alleys of Sfax’s historic medina.

This travel documentary was made in June 2023, when I had the chance to travel around Tunisia for 2,5 weeks.

Here’s a brief overview of the content in this video:

We start our journey in Tunis, the vibrant capital city of Tunisia. It provides a great introduction to the country, with an intriguing historic medina, bustling markets, lively street scenes, great food and welcoming people. Not far from here are the picturesque Sidi bou Said, one of Tunisia’s most visited villages, and the ancient archaeological site of Carthage. Both can be visited as day trips from Tunis.

After renting a car, we drive South to the Berber village of Takrouna, to try some delicious home made bread. The next destination in Sousse, a popular beach vacation destination, that also offers a friendly medina, historic landmarks, and a stunning museum with spectacular mosaics.

We briefly stop in Monastir to visit the Ribat and Mausoleum of Habib Bourguiba, to many still seen as the ‘Father of the Nation’, before arriving in El Jem. This small town is home to one of the best preserved amphitheaters in the world.

Kairouan is considered the fourth holiest city in Islam, after Mecca, Medina, and Jerusalem. At the core of the city stands the imposing Great Mosque that remains an important place of worship. We also go in search of carpets here, for which Kairouan is famous.

After passing Sidi Bouzid, generally considered as the starting point of the so called Arab Spring, we continue to Tozeur, a small city on the edge of the Sahara. Reaching this far-flung outpost proved quite a challenge, as a sandstorm suddenly picked up. Around Tozeur we visit several oases, and also take a look at a former Star Wars movie set.

We cross the massive Chott el Jerid salt lake and arrive in Sabria, where we get an impression of nomadic lifestyles and ancient Bedouin culture. After riding camels, sipping tea at sunset, and a wonderful meal, we spend the night in style inside a tent camp. Next on the list are friendly Tamezret village, the peculiar hotel of Ksar Hadada, Ksar Ouled Soltane, and Chenini, which provides a great example of troglodyte housing.

The island of Djerba has a relaxed Mediterranean feel, with friendly villages, spectacular beaches, and interesting sights. We visit bustling markets, the murals and art of Djerbahood, pottery and ceramic workshops, and the beautiful El Ghriba Synagogue. We finish our journey in Sfax, an important commercial and industrial center, but also a city with a friendly, open attitude.

For my first full length feature - I set out to the coast of Oregon for 13 days. We chose the off season - ready to battle the challenging rain and wind in exchange for having most of the locations to ourselves. As a hiking guide with my business Roulette-Travel.com, I'm no stranger to inclement weather - and so was ready for the challenge of whatever Oregon could throw at us.

Venturing into the Pacific Northwest for the very first time - I wasn't exactly sure what to expect - especially considering that I met my travel partner for the time - at baggage claim. We linked up through Instagram to split the costs of the trip as well as the burden of driving, and this documentary shows how it played out!

Dive in with Roulette Travel as we travel 1,700 miles through Oregon's stunning forests and coastline, visiting 18 waterfalls and 8 cities along the way. From the lush forests along the Columbia River Gorge and its scenic waterfalls, to the giants of the redwood groves and back to the bridges and megaliths of the coast - this adventure has it all.

Oahu - The Heart and Soul of Hawaii | Nature Documentary

Watch '8000 Miles to Alaska: A Journey Along the Longest Border in the World ' here: https://youtu.be/nvp9X3PC08k

Oahu island is the economic and cultural centre of the Hawaiian archipelago, as well as being a paradise for surfers, active holidaymakers and freedom lovers. The island is home to more than half of all natives and almost eight million foreign guests annually. Anyone searching for peace and seclusion won’t find either in Honolulu or Waikiki. Traffic congestion and a backdrop of skyscrapers belong to the town panorama. Hip cafes, galleries and young fashion firms have settled here, adding a new and modern flair to the capital. Cindy’s Lei Shoppe, the Chinatown florists, has been here for more than 30 years. This is also because the so-called Leis, the tradition of floral decoration, usually offered as a flower necklace or as a headdress, is still an important part of Hawaiian culture. Keone Nunes is well-known for his traditional tattooing skills, whereby the so-called Kakau Tattoos are virtually hammered into the skin with a hippo tooth. But Oahu is also an island of overwhelming natural beauty and a fascinating diversity on the smallest of places ...
